CIRTA 2021 is now over. We hope you enjoyed the Congress as much as we enjoyed organising it! We are grateful to all our speakers for adapting to the digital format to deliver the latest evidence and developments in the field of intestinal rehabilitation and transplant. Thank you for ensuring your presentations were interactive and gave opportunity for audience interaction. Thank you also to our sponsors without whom the meeting would not have been possible. To our delegates, both online and in person, thank you for your enthusiasm, participation and positive feedback since the meeting. We hope that, like us, you feel you have made new friends and contacts in the speciality that will endure into the future, bringing fruitful collaborations. We remain indebted to our wonderful team at Conference Innovators and Multi Media who worked around the clock so that everything ran smoothly.
The presentations will remain live on the Congress virtual platform for the next few months so do make sure you check out any that you missed.
We hope to see you all in Chicago for CIRTA 2023 and wish Alan Buchman and his team all the very best with the organisation. Keep up to date with news of the Congress here (https://tts.org/irta-about/irta-presidents-message).
So that’s a wrap from us! We hope that we gave you a flavour of our little corner of the world here in Aotearoa New Zealand and we would very much like to welcome you all back in person in the not too distant future.
Stay safe and mā te wā.
Dr Helen Evans & Dr Amin Roberts, Congress Convenors
