Please read the information below before you submit your abstract. CIRTA 2021 intends to provide high-quality sessions focused on educational content that is free from commercial influence or bias. All conflicts of interest must be declared.

Requirements for the submission of abstracts.

• All abstracts must be submitted online
• Please ensure your abstract makes clear whether your work pertains to paediatric or adult practice, or both
• All abstracts must be submitted into the correct category. To view the criteria click the button below.

Resubmission policy
CIRTA welcomes the submission of abstracts that have been presented previously at regional, national, or international meetings in the two years since the last CIRTA 2019 meeting in Paris, given the highly specialised nature of the related topics.

Categories

Abstracts should be submitted into the relevant category:

Basic science
1. Basic science of intestinal failure, rehabilitation and transplant

Clinical sciences
2. Intestinal failure and rehabilitation - medical, surgical and/or nutrition management
3. Intestinal transplantation - indications, complications, immunosuppression, surgical techniques
4. Nursing, psychology, physiotherapy and other allied health professional management of intestinal failure, rehabilitation and transplantation
5. Quality of life in intestinal failure, rehabilitation and transplantation

Long term outcomes
6. Centre experiences and registry reports

7. Ethical issues in the management of intestinal failure, rehabilitation and transplantation

8. Miscellaneous topics relevant to intestinal failure, rehabilitation and transplantation
